Is Brea Liom Mo Mhammai A4 Print
What Ray says about this piece:
As kids, we had no filter. If we didn’t like something, we’d blurt it out—usually at the most embarrassing moment possible. We weren’t thinking about tomorrow because, well, tomorrow was just another day to play with LEGOs and avoid vegetables. And let’s be real, our Mammies were the centre of the universe.
They were our superheroes, moral GPS, snack providers, and the only ones who could fix anything with a band-aid and a hug.
But now, as adults, we somehow forget to say the basics, like “I love you.” When was the last time you told your Mam you loved her? If it’s been a while, you might want to call her now before she hits you with, “Why do I only hear from you when you need something?”
